Balance, Equilibrium, Grounding and Stability

Balance, in yoga, usually means how easily or well we stand on one foot. In the larger, wider, global vision, though, balance infers equilibrium, moderation, adaptability, grounding and stability in all things: yoga practice, daily activity, state of mind, world view.

We all experience swings in mood, in fortune, in health, in energy and optimism. Please join as we study and explore up and down, side to side, forward and back, round and round using breathing and movement exercises. Finally centering ourselves, like pendulums, we’ll begin to slow down, settle, balance, quieten, level and relax.
