Please join me in a new venue – a boutique oceanfront hotel in the heart of Tofino, nestled between old growth cedars hanging on the edge of the shore. Originally built in the late 1960’s the property and its architecture are the definition of cabin vibes. A rich natural landscape surrounds the property which consists of an A-frame house and two A-frame cabins.
The Shoreline Hotel is very centrally located, a 5 minute walk to Tofino Coffee and Shelter, 10 minutes, to Wolf in the Fog and town center, 15 minutes to Tofino Brewery. It’s a short drive or a 30 minute walk to MacKenzie Beach or Tonquin. A 10 minute drive to the surfable beaches – Chesterman and Cox Bay.
We’ll practise yoga and meditation in the ‘breath-giving’ atmosphere of the Pacific coast of Vancouver Island on old, old land. We’ll watch weather, walk Long Beach, breathe negative ions and rejuvenate. It will be cool, probably rainy, but that’s when the special BC energy emerges and carries us into another place and time.
There is also a hot tub, cold plunge and sauna on site.
Harbour Air offers flight service to the Tofino Marina located next door. (https://www.harbourair.com/). You can also fly into the Long Beach/Tofino Airport – a 20 minute drive away. There is a free airport shuttle or local taxi service for transport to the hotel.

MONICA VOSS has been a student and practitioner of yoga for over 45 years. In addition to co-owning and directing Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto, Canada, Monica conducts workshops, retreats and teacher training internationally.

The Studio portion of the payment ($500, non-refundable) is due now and made directly to Esther Myers Yoga Studio. A-frame house – 2-4 Sharing $3050
The house offers 2 bedrooms, 1 King/1 Queen, en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom and a full bathroom on the main floor. A loft addition with 2 single beds is accessible by ladder.
Cabin Suite 1 – Single $1250
This suite includes a private desk area, waterfront views, full kitchen, full bath and a queen bed.
Cabin Suite 2 – Single $1550
This suite has a private deck area, waterfront views, kitchenette, in-room soaker tub, full bath and a queen bed.
Cabin Suite 3 – 2 Sharing (small) $950
A cozy suite with a private deck, waterfront views, kitchenette, bath and two twin beds.
Cabin Suite 4 – 2-3 Sharing $1550
This suite has a private deck, waterfront views, full kitchen, full bath, double bed, single bed nook, and a pull out sofa.
Garden Suite 5 – Single or 2 Sharing $1550
This garden suite sits under the main home and includes a private deck, waterfront views, full size kitchen, spacious living room, full bath, queen bedroom, and a pull-out sofa.
6 participants minimum/10 maximum
This retreat is unusual in that the room prices are fixed and the cost divided by the numbers of participants.
3 Meals/day, $400pp, will be provided, catered by and paid directly to Erica Slattery.
All prices listed are in Canadian dollars and include taxes and agent’s fee.

Cancellation policies for transportation, accommodation and meals are at the discretion of Merit Travel and the retreat venue. The Studio is not responsible for any refunds for transportation, accommodation or meals.
