Discover three distinct areas of India in this exciting retreat adventure! The group will gather in Amritsar and spend the first 3 nights (April 12-14) acclimatizing to India and visiting the Golden Temple, spiritual centre of the Sikh religion. On April 15, we’ll transfer to the remote and beautiful Basunti Lodge (www.basunti.com) for 9 nights (April 15-23) for the yoga retreat portion of this trip. We conclude our adventure with 3 nights (April 24-27) in the Himalayan mountain towns of Dharamsala/McLeod Ganj, home to HH the Dalai Lama, after which you may stay on, travel elsewhere, return to Amritsar, Delhi or home.

Monica Voss has been a student and teacher of yoga for over 40 years. In addition to co-owning and teaching at Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto, Canada, Monica conducts workshops, retreats and teacher training internationally.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS
Here are the prices in Canadian dollars and include room only in Amritsar and McLeod Ganj, full board at Basunti, and road transfers from Amritsar to Basunti and from Basunti to McLeod Ganj. There may need to be adjustments to these amounts due to fluctuations in currency, fuel costs and the reluctance of hotels to commit very far in advance (but I hope not).

NB – Merit Travel cannot guarantee roommates for those without. If you request shared accommodation, you must be prepared to upgrade to single at the higher rate.

90% refund, with COVID diagnosis or more than120 days prior to the beginning of the retreat
50% refund, fewer than 120 days but more than 30 days prior to the beginning of the retreat
No refund, 30 days prior to the beginning of the retreat
Cancellation policies for transportation, accommodation and meals are at the discretion of Merit Travel. The Studio is not responsible for any refunds for transportation, accommodation or meals.
