In this introductory workshop, participants will be taught a basic self-shiatsu routine which can be used to bring more awareness to their body and to relieve tension. In the second part of the workshop emphasis will be placed on the practical, hands-on nature of Zen Shiatsu. Participants will have a chance to work with each other to learn a basic back routine. The class will begin with warm up exercises, a 5 minute guided meditation, basic Traditional Chinese Medical Theory and qi gong exercises to help circulate the chi as well as increase sensitivity.
