Animal images abound within the yoga asana and pranayama curriculum. When we think about animals, the brain and mind seem to shift to a simpler, quieter vibration. Our curiosity and imagination will help us determine the essence of each animal’s energy, its basic characteristics. Our kinesthetic sense will encourage us to emulate its movements which are natural, unselfconscious and life-affirming.
