Workshops for Teachers

Our Workshops for Yoga Teachers delve into specific topics to enhance your teaching skills and personal practice. Each unique workshop is designed to expand your knowledge through yoga practice, meditation, reflection and discussion.  Topics include functional anatomy, hands on assisting, pre and post natal, philosophy, anxiety and sanskrit. Many workshops are eligible for CEUs.

Making sounds, whether deliberate or spontaneous, is a strategy the body/brain/mind uses to release stress and restore energy. In this workshop, we will practise a variety of structured and non-structured sound-making to rediscover the voice as a tool for relaxation, empowerment and self-expression.

Spend 2 days exploring the art of teaching yoga to beginners. Learn the principles behind adapting postures and breathing practices, the importance of variety and flexibility in language and description, and how to use the integrated principles of grounding, breathing and releasing the spine in order to guide beginning students toward reflective and independent practice.
