A day of workshops to celebrate EMYS’ 40th year

Sing It!, with Shirley Roll
11:00am – 12:30pm

An interest in the therapeutic value of singing led Shirley Roll to complete a certificate in Sound, Voice and Music Healing and to study Yoga of the Voice and vocal improvisation. Purely for fun, she recently spent seven glorious days singing with Bobby McFerrin and Gimme5.  Shirley sings in the shower, walking down the street, and in several local choirs. You can also find her singing at the bedside of the ill or dying and with addictions and mental health patients.

Yoga and Dance, with Julia Juhas

She has been studying at Esther Myers Yoga Studio since 2012 and has completed the 750hr Teacher Training Programme. Dance and yoga have enriched her experience as a professional performing artist and yoga teacher.
