| VEDIC CHANTING |
| Vedic Chanting is energizing, centering and calming. It requires precise measure and cadence, correct enunciation, grammatical formation and modulation of sound and breath. In fact, Vedic chanting is in itself a complete mode of pranayama. This workshop will introduce the basic principles of chanting, and teach exercises on how to produce the Sanskrit sounds. Navtej will then lead the group through guided chanting of selected chants from the Vedas and/or the Upanishads. |
